We are a family to belong to, where you can grow in faith, share life with others and join in God’s mission.
City Groups aren’t just Bible studies or social hangouts, or even just another meeting to attend. They’re communities where people grow in discipleship, share life together and join in God’s mission. Most groups meet weekly in homes around Milton Keynes, each led by a trusted individual or couple who help create a safe, welcoming space for growth, support, and connection.
City Groups run in three termly blocks throughout the year. Each one is a little different; different people, times, and locations, but they all include time to eat, learn, share, and pray together.
The best place to start is with the group nearest to where you live. If that’s not an option, just pick the one you’re most likely to stick with consistently. Not sure where to begin? Try out a couple and see which one feels right!

We also have other types of groups that meet at different times and for set periods or seasons.
Affinity means ‘an inherent likeness or connection’. Affinity groups happen periodically and are low-barrier ways to connect with others in a similar life stage, gender or shared interest. These are great places to drop in and meet new friends, or invite old friends who don’t call Garden City home.
The goal for Discipleship Groups is to gather regularly with a small group of the same gender to deliberately pursue Jesus together. Groups practise some of the most neglected commands and disciplines of the Christian life, providing an accessible way of discipling one another through meaningful, accountable relationships.
We believe the church is at its best, and God His most glorious, when His people seek after Him in humble, desperate, passionate prayer. We are hungry to be a people who contend for a fresh move of God’s Spirit in our day and believe that Kingdom advancement is fuelled by prayer.

Electives are an important part of how we grow as disciples of Jesus. They’re spaces where we learn together, find inspiration, and discover practical ways to live out our faith in everyday life.
They are built around teaching, group discussion, and hands-on opportunities to put our learning into practice. They take place twice a year, at the end of the spring and winter terms, and we’d love for everyone to join in, especially with others from their city group.
Garden City Kids is designed to help our children connect with Jesus, in a fun, relevant, and action-packed way.
Garden City Youth have a variety of opportunities, some weeks they take part in age-specific activities, while other weeks they remain in the main service with the adults.
