Our practices

Shaped by Scripture

We’ve been given a wonderful gift from God in the form of the Bible. By delving into scripture, we come to know God, understand more about ourselves, make sense of the world, and discover the mission that Jesus modelled and passed on to each of us. Setting aside time each day to engage with the Bible, no matter how long or short is not about ticking a box. It’s about connecting with truth that’s bigger than our own perspective and anchoring our lives in God’s unfolding story.

Making this a part of your daily rhythm is not only life-giving, it’s essential for anyone seeking to practice the way of Jesus. Let scripture shape your thoughts. Let it challenge, comfort, and renew you. Open the Word, and open your heart.

Baseline Practice

Spend time daily reading and memorising the Bible. Ask yourself what the Scripture is saying and how it applies to your life and the lives of those around you. Pray that God would work in your life according to what you’ve read that day.
