How to Support Steve & Tammy.

As we step out to plant this new church, we are giving up our existing pastoral roles in Northampton, and moving as a family to Milton Keynes. Like any entrepreneurial endeavour, the first few years of church planting can be brutal, often this is because time and resources can become a limiting factor. We are determined that this wouldn't be case, so as we move into this next phase we are looking for individuals, churches and organisations who are willing to partner with us, to help cover some of our personal living costs for the next one to two years.

Over the last 12 months we have managed to secure just over £30,000 in one-off lump sum donations, this has enabled us to start gathering our launch team and step into this next season with some ease. As we move forward our goal is to continue to raise support in the form of smaller monthly recurring donations. Our target is £5,000 per month, this will help to cover our ongoing living costs and hopefully help us find the right place to live, while we aim to give 100% of our working week to gathering people, training leaders and reaching out across the city.

Often it can be hard to work out what to give, to help you determine this we have broken down our funding goal into different monthly amounts, from donations of £25 to £200 per month. As you can see it's still early days and we will update this page and our newsletter as more funded starts to arrive. We also have a few different option on how you can give, either via Stewardship, online via ChurchSuite and directly via your bank (see below). All donations will be treated as designated funds via Garden City Vineyard, which is a UK registered charity and therefore governed by charity law.

How to give.

Whichever method you use, if you are a UK taxpayer don’t forget to sign and complete our Gift Aid form. This entitles Garden City Vineyard to claim the tax back that you have paid on your donation – this is currently equivalent to 25p in every pound, so for a little paper work, your donation will go even further.
